Ventura Midtown Corridor Development Code

Robert Alminana was project manager, lead writer and lead designer as part of HDR for this form-based Development Code for Main Street & Thompson Boulevard in Midtown Ventura.

This new Transect-based Code is consistent with The City’s General Plan which is focused on strengthening, reconnecting, and expanding the original development pattern of pedestrian-oriented neighborhoods, districts and corridors. It provides the criteria that will ensure a pedestrian- and transit-oriented environment as well as compatibility with adjoining historic neighborhoods.
