As part of Sargent Town Planning, and in association with Opticos Design, Robert Alminana was charrette and project manager for this master plan and form-based code for a new neighborhood adjacent to the California State University Monterey Bay campus. The master plan connects the new neighborhood to the campus as well as to additional planned neighborhoods and to the beach.
The neighborhood is designed as a model sustainable community and includes over 1000 residences—in a mix of single-family houses of various sizes, town houses, apartments and condominiums—, neighborhood-serving retail, commercial uses, civic buildings and parks.
